As the controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), I decide on the purposes and means of processing personal data on this website.
I collect and use personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website and to deliver my services. Processing takes place only on the basis of a legal permission or your consent.
This website runs on a virtual private server (VPS) operated by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. When you visit this website, the following data is automatically recorded in so-called server log files:
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and functional operation of the website).
Storage period: Log files are automatically deleted after 7 days.
Data processing agreement: A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hostinger. The Data Processing Addendum (DPA) is available at hostinger.com/legal/dpa. Hostinger’s privacy policy is available at hostinger.com/legal/privacy-policy.
If you use the contact form on this website, the data you enter (name, email address, topic, message and, where applicable, company details) is processed in order to handle your enquiry. This data is forwarded to me by email and is not passed on to third parties.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken prior to entering into a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling enquiries).
Storage period: Your data will be deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply (usually after 3 years).
If you sign up for my newsletter using the form on this website, your email address is transmitted to and stored by ActiveCampaign, Inc., 1 N Dearborn St, 5th Floor, Chicago, IL 60602, USA. ActiveCampaign is an email marketing service that I use to send newsletters.
Sign-up uses the double opt-in procedure: after signing up, you receive a confirmation email. Your sign-up only becomes effective once you click the confirmation link. I store the time of sign-up and the IP address as proof of consent.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). You can withdraw your consent at any time, e.g. via the unsubscribe link in every newsletter email or by email to hallo@katjakaiser-coaching.de.
Transfer to third countries: ActiveCampaign is based in the USA. Data is transferred on the basis of standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR. ActiveCampaign’s privacy policy is available at activecampaign.com/legal/privacy-policy.

On this website I offer a free online course on breathing. When you sign up, your first name and email address are collected and transmitted to ActiveCampaign, Inc. (see section 5). Signing up serves two purposes: access to the course area and receipt of my newsletter.

This data is not transmitted to me or to third parties, and no tracking cookies are set. You can delete this data at any time via your browser settings.
Google Calendar is embedded on the contact page of this website so that you can book an introductory call directly. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
When the embedded calendar is loaded, a connection to Google’s servers is established. In the process, your IP address and information about the browser you are using are transmitted to Google. Google may also set cookies on your device.
The calendar is only loaded after you have actively clicked the “Load calendar” button (click-to-load). Before that, no data is transmitted to Google.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent by actively loading the calendar).
Transfer to third countries: Data may be passed on to Google LLC, USA. This takes place on the basis of standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR.
